Raleigh grew up in eastern North Carolina, spending much of his childhood in the Southern Outer Banks. He spent many days offshore fishing with his family and developed a passion for the ocean at a young age. Raleigh always wanted to incorporate the ocean into his professional career, and he decided law school provided him the best path to his goals. He earned a law degree combined with a master’s degree in marine affairs and policy from the University of Miami and began practicing maritime law in 2011.
Raleigh has extensive experience on all legal aspects of yacht ownership. His experience on the ocean and understanding of the yacht industry allows him to take a practical approach to his representation. He has managed vessel transactions of all types and sizes all over the world, as he regularly assists buyers, sellers, builders and marine lenders.
Raleigh is also a licensed captain, enjoys fishing in his free time and currently resides in Stuart, Florida.
